Refund Policy

What you're paying for

Untangle is free to use — no signup, no card on file, no subscription. The decision tool itself doesn't cost anything.

If you choose to send a tip after a session, you're supporting the cost of keeping Untangle running: API costs, hosting, and the time it takes to build it. Tips are voluntary contributions, not payments for a product or service.

When refunds apply

Tips are generally non-refundable. They're tips.

That said, we'll process a refund in these cases:

  • Accidental duplicate payment — you tipped twice for the same session by mistake.
  • Technical error — you saw an error or the wrong amount was charged but money was deducted.
  • You changed your mind within 24 hours — we'll refund without question. Just ask.

When refunds don't apply

  • You used Untangle, found the move helpful, then decided not to support it after all. Tips are voluntary — choosing to give one and changing your mind later isn't a refund case.
  • You used Untangle, didn't find the move useful, and want your tip back as a satisfaction guarantee. The tip wasn't a purchase, it was a contribution. Send feedback to omkarpkh@gmail.com instead — that helps more than a refund.

How to request a refund

Email omkarpkh@gmail.com with:

  • The phone number you used (we use this to find your transaction)
  • The approximate date and time of the tip
  • The amount

Timeline

We'll respond within 24 hours and process eligible refunds within 3 working days. Once processed, the amount typically reflects in your bank account within 5–7 working days depending on your bank and payment method.
